As of now, my PC can't connect to the internet via Ethernet cable. Other devices such as my phone and Xbox are able to use the internet but my PC has a yellow symbol with "Unidentified Network" showing. I had this problem before and I fixed it by reverting back to a previous version or Windows 10. Now that it is happening again there is no option to revert back. I realized there was an update today and when I check my windows installation history it shows my computer updated 6/26/18 but the most recent update I see is KB4132650.

Since I can't revert back, I literally tried every solution I can look up. I tried resetting my network, unplugging my router, changing the speed, disabling and reenabling my Ethernet, the command prompt solutions, resetting my PC (erased all my files), Windows 10 Defender fresh start, uninstalling my network driver, etc.

Please any suggestions to fix this!

EDIT: The solution that worked for me was updating my network driver. My network driver was pretty outdated (2015). Downloaded the 2018 version via USB and manually installed it to my PC. Im guessing the new Window 10 updates don't work with outdated network drivers. Thanks to everyone who helped me!

So this issue is tearing my hair out. I have done lots of googling and it seems as though this issue is mostly caused because windows is expecting a certificate and the router isn't giving it one, however it seems that only happens when you have an enterprise connection. This is just a normal home network using WPA security. The network works fine for a host of other devices in the house, including one computer that is also running windows 10.

The annoying part is if I remove security all together I am able to connect to the network just fine.

Last night I thought I had a breakthrough following a similar thread on here where I did "netsh wlan delete profile ATT232" in the terminal and then manually added it. I was able to connect after that and connected for the rest of the night.
